About the Project

Launched in August 2024, Raising Green Communities is dedicated to improving shelter home infrastructure in select areas by refurbishing a sewage treatment plant to promote sustainable practices as well as overall health and cleanliness. 

These measures strive to not only address the structural but also resource needs of shelter homes and its residents. In line with the same, this initiative aspires to implement a multidimensional strategy involving awareness building, advocacy for sustainable urban planning, and hands-on architectural improvements aided by fundraising efforts. 

To further impact, the initiative also looks forward to the creation and distribution of original educational resources via maintenance guides and expert-led workshops so communities can feel empowered in managing changes to sustain upgrades.
