Azarya Suri is an enthusiastic and dedicated student at Pathways School, Gurgaon where he studies the IBDP curriculum. When he’s not enhancing his subject knowledge within the domains of Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Hindi, Design Technology, and English; he channels time and energy towards pursuing a myriad of extracurriculars including the drums, robotics, and rock climbing.
Azarya has received Silver Medals for his performance in the International Mathematics and Science Competitions of Southeast Asia along with a Merit Award for his submission to the Immerse Education Essay Competition examining how sustainable architecture contributes to combating climate change, highlighting latest innovations in green building practices. With a keen interest in exploring this intersection of architecture with sustainability, Azarya completed the ‘Start Designing in Architecture’ summer school course offered by the RISD Youth Program. This, coupled with his passion and past experience in community based volunteer service, is what encouraged him to found Raising Green Communities. Through this project, he aims to combine his knowledge and interests to aid vulnerable communities by not only improving their housing infrastructure but also the standards of their living in a way that is indelible.
